Project: D - LUXe

The new Softail Deluxe, a 2008 with only 20 miles on it when I got it last week. (It sat in some lady's garage the whole time, and I was told she paid for it with cash. Must be nice, right?) It's a classy ride, and kudos to all you lovers of the colored bike, but it's so not my style. That's why I call it a Project, because I'm going to trick it out Black, Dark Princess style. I couldn't be more excited to get to strip it to the bare bones...



Here's just one of my sources of inspiration:



The Deluxe with custom paint, black pipes, black air filter, black risers, black mirrors, and no auxiliary lighting.

Thank you Harley Davidson for going black. What were you waiting for? Not everyone likes whitewalls with chrome. Ugh, I respect the classy chrome look, and all of you that like your blind-me-at-night reflective metal. Just go your own way and gimme my dark black finishes and nasty style... All the good girls know how to get dirty.
